“My
well being depends on me getting all that I desire.” “Life is limited. There
isn’t enough for everyone.” We have been told that the abundance of money
conduces to success and happiness, but does it? Does our life depend on
it? Or we are driven by greed? One thing
that we should know is that money will not necessarily lead to happiness, success
and a good reputation after all.
Every
person has always been in the search of happiness, who would not love to find
it? Happiness could be relative from one person to another, put in one point
people have related money with happiness, as a matter of fact, money can be
involved in this cases, and this will drive a person to be addicted and having
an excessive desire of money far more than is needed or deserved, this would
probably conduce a person to be greedy.
In
our daily life we encounter people who are always angry, focused only to find
the perfect life and success, forgetting the mayor basics of life and little
details which nature and life grant for free. It is not certain that to become
a successful person, the presence of excessive money must be necessarily. I
think successfulness comes from the knowledge and education; it is what directs
us to open our minds and enter to the beautiful world of knowledge, as Albert
Einstein said.
It
is thought that when we have money we could have power upon other persons, yet
this would not guarantee that they would receive a high value among these
people, respect and appreciation .However I consider that the abundance of
wealth and power will never give much value to a person as knowledge and wisdom
give. Another thing that money will not
grant is our principles of moral. That is why this glory, wealth and power will
not tag a person with a good reputation when the principles of moral and
decorum it is in a shortage.
It
is true that money is important for our bare necessities but, would a large
amount beside us be necessarily in the last moments of our life? Does it would
bring good memories and fill our soul with happiness? Of course not, if we
reflect upon this, we will see that the wonderful things that brings happiness
comes for free and conceive within ourselves, that success comes with knowledge
and a good reputation it is related with the presence of morals. That is why the greed maybe satisfies
the materialistic whims but never would be related with happiness, success and
good reputation after all.
